"Crime and Punishment", Dostoyevsky

I picked this book up on a whim; the "classics" section of our local bookstore is next to the children's area, and I was browsing through it while the kids were looking around.

Basically, there's nothing I can say that tens of thousands of others haven't already covered. It was a fast, suspenseful story that was enjoyable in every way. Although I expected something wordy and stale, it was as fresh and timely as anything I've read in the last few years.

I was delightfully surprised and would gladly recommend it.
